Placement can make or break your photo booth. Colin and I have had large events that have flooded the booth with guests, and in the same vein, large events where the guests trickled in like a broken faucet. This wedding was somewhere in the middle of slow and potentially busy. We had a flow of guests for a brief moment. The wedding itself was bumpin’ with guests, music, and fun.
Unfortunately, for us and the bride and groom the Selfie Scene wasn’t able to provide the value and experience we strive for. Where we were located in the venue was not ideal. To little avail our 4 ft. tall Selfie Scene signage and our attempt to chat with the guests to let them know who and where we were. But, we were too tucked away in a small up stairs room.
We wanted everyone to enjoy the booth experience we create, it’s frustrating because we are there to do just that. The bride and groom got to enjoy a few photos and they seemed to love it. A few guests and most of the bridesmaids enjoyed some photos. A group of small kids definitely enjoyed their fair share of photos-which sometimes gets out of hand.
